GPHL ranked among China’s Most Influential Employers

After topping the list of China’s Top 100 Pharmaceutical Companies in 2017, GPHL once again was listed as one of China’s Most Influential Employers on Feb. 26, 2018.
The ranking list of China’s Most Influential Employers is released by Fortune China and Willis Towers Watson, aiming to promote the healthy development of employment relationship. Candidate enterprises are mainly Fortune 500, China 500 and well-known enterprises in China.
According to Fortune China, talents have become the core competitiveness of enterprises, therefore how to attract and retain talents is complicated and important for enterprises.
As one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in China, GPHL always sticks to innovation-driven development and actively brings in talents. It now has two Nobel Prize winners, one Guangdong Province Innovation Team, 10 double-employed academicians, seven foreign expert advisors, two experts with a State Council Special Allowance and over 100 experts with PhD degree and rank of professor. The two Nobel Prize winners have raised GPHL’s international R&D standards. Dr. Ferid Murad, known as the Father of Viagra, offered professional advice to develop Jin’ge, a product similar to Viagra. He also serves as the director of GPHL’s Medical Equipment Institute.
It is of note that GPHL achieved a sales revenue of RMB 100 billion in 2017 and has topped the list of China’s Top 100 Pharmaceutical Companies for years in a row. In 2018, GPHL will focus more on technology development, increase technological innovation investment, bring in and cultivate talents, so as to achieve its next goal—become one of the listed Fortune Global 500 enterprises by 2020.
