In the recent outbreak of infections, TCM has played a vital role in COVID-19 prevention and treatment in northwest China's Gansu Province, a senior expert has told Xinhua.

Since Oct. 18, new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Gansu. To improve people's immunity, Chinese medicine specialists have formulated TCM decoctions for patients and medical staff.
